Co-active coaching is based on the premise that clients are creative, resourceful and whole. This means that they have all the solutions to their own challenges, issues, problems and dreams within them.
The purpose of the coach is to help the client unlock this potential. It is a non-directive method where the coach “stays out of the client's way” to promote clear thought and deep connection with what is really at the heart of the matter.
The coach will support, question, challenge, bottom line and reflect back to the client in order to work towards the client's agreed outcome.
The coaching relationship will be based on a series of regular interactions co-designed by client and coach. Usually this would take the form of a conversation at a pre-agreed time. This may be weekly, monthly or on a more ad hoc basis although personally I believe that a regular commitment and a timescale give the process more direction and therefore more significance.
specialise in working with business owners, entrepreneurs and people who are self employed as that is my own particular experience, however the coaching methodology can be applied to any client around any agenda.
